Alum Creek Winners 5/31/26

Trophy Bassmasters traveled to Alum Creek State Park to the New Galena boat ramp for the 7th points tournament this year. The weather cooperated with mild conditions all day, but the fish did not. It was feast or famine for about half of the field.
Logan Barker notched his first win this year with a very respectable 13.16-pound creel, and only 5 fish limit, to capture 1st place. Chad Asel was within a pound of the lead with 4 fish catch. Virgil Grant has been in the top 3 all year and repeated that string today with 3 nice fish to round out the top 3.
Virgil maintained his lead for the AOY race, with last year’s winner, Don Ratcliff close behind in second place. Any member has time to win this year’s AOY race with 12 tournaments left this year.
