The Trophy Bassmasters traveled to Sandusky Bay over the weekend to participate in the 15th points tournament of the year. The weather was mild and typical for this time of the year. Although the rain was on and off for about half of the day, overall, it was a good day for fishing.
The bite was fairly slow and the fish seemed to be scattered in select areas. Glen Cronley found 5 good fish with a 4 pound kicker to take first place and big bass. Don Ratcliff solidified his AOY bid with a close 2nd place. Virgil Grant followed up 3rd to remain in contention for the AOY race.
