Sandusky Bay results have been updated on our website.

With only 7 club tournaments left during this year’s tournament season, the Angler of the Year race is heating up. Don Ratcliff has a comfortable lead as we round second base. Kelly Dearwester is close behind with Bert Grubs also contending for AOY honors.

Note: Special thanks to Boyd Downey for donating the trophies this year at his expense. Also include Steve Ganger who shared some of the expense. If you want to donate, please see Boyd.

There are a few members who still owe entry fees for our next tournament on the Detroit River. This is a reminder to please bring them with you to the next meeting or send your check to Bert Grubbs.

The next club tournament is scheduled for Sunday, July 20. We are using the Elizabeth Park Boat Launch in Trenton, Michigan.

Below is a boat draw form that can be printed by the tournament director for our upcoming tournaments in July.

It took a long time to update all of the information for the past weekend, so I am sorry for the delay in posting our results. I am also without a boat until Knox Marine investigates the issues I have with my Ranger.

It doesn’t seem possible that we are over half way through the fishing season.

The AOY race is starting to heat up with Don Ratcliff in the lead but that can change quickly as the tournament finishes are very competitive this year. It will be interesting to see who rises to the top this year.

St Clair Results have been posted on our website. As predicted this 2-day event was filled with mild, but warm weather and proved to be a slugfest.

We only have a few members on the list for entries not paid. Please bring them to the next meeting or send your check to Bert Grubbs. If you have paid let Kelly Dearwester know to take you off the list.

Several members who were unable to fish are owed refunds. Please see Boyd Downey at the next meeting or apply your refund to a future tournament.

The next club meeting is on Wednesday, July 2 at the Masonic Temple in Kenton, Ohio. We will draw for 3 tournaments. (Sandusky Bay – July 5, Detroit River – July 20 and Portage River only August 3.

Alum Creek Tournament Results have been posted. Congratulations to our winners. Logan Barker received the first-place trophy. Special thanks to Boyd Downey for donating these trophies.

The new Facebook group is growing. We have nine members and friends that have joined the group. All members have been preapproved for membership.

Next tournament is a 2-day event on Lake St Clair. Each tournament is scored separately. These 2 tournaments will take us over halfway through our season.

Weather and wind forecast is favorable for both days. This should be a slugfest.

14 inch bass limit, Harley Ensign Ramp, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm both days.

Several members have not paid their entry fees for St Clair as well as a few others. Please pay before or at the ramp.
